Megan Gale
Gale was 18 when she took part in a modeling competition held at the age of 18 in Perth. Gale was a model for several years before she became known at the age of 19 when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) asked her to model in ads. She continued to be employed as a model for the company until. In 2003 in 2003, it was announced that the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale was featured on the cover of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan and Vogue Italia. Gale was a model for Italian fashion houses like Gianfranco ferre, Genny as well as Gai Matiolo. The runway work at Milan Fashion Week for Mariella burani as well as Angelo Marani. Gale is also a huge fan of numerous Australian designers such as Colette Dinnigan Kirrily Johnsonston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale was the fashion commentator for the Australian television awards known as the Logies. Gale retired from modelling runways in January of 2008, after fifteen years. She walked her last catwalk in the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney the following week. For her last look, she wore Wonder Woman's attire from her Justice League of America movie which was never made. Gale ended Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March of 2011.
