Julie M. Benz, born May 1st, 1972 in the US, is most well-known for her role as Rita Bennett (as in Dexter) for which she received the Satellite Award for Outstanding Actress in the Series as well as Mini-Series. She was also a part of the television series No Ordinary Family, which began airing on May 13, through its demise. Darla was one of her most well-known characters in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, as well as Angel. Her next role is on the CBS series A Gifted Man.
